This recipe is super easy! You’ll just need a few simple ingredients:

Want to skip the sugar? You can use a no-sugar-added apple pie filling, like the one listed above, that is sweetened with sucralose instead of sugar.

How To Make Fall Fruit Salad (Quick Overview)

The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make the salad. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.

Add all of the fruit to a bowl. The fruit can be prepared as follows:

  • Apples: cored, then chopped or sliced
  • Pears: cored, then chopped or sliced
  • Grapes: whole or halved

Next, add the apple pie filling.

Mix to combine, making sure the fresh fruit is fully coated. The apple pie filling will add sweetness and flavor to the fresh fruit while also slowing down the browning process.

Serving Notes

  • Optionally add spices. If desired, you can mix in or garnish the fruit salad with cinnamon and/or apple pie spice.
  • You can make this into a super yummy treat. To make this fruit salad an extra-special treat, serve it with whipped cream or ice cream (or both! 😀). It tastes especially good with vanilla or cinnamon ice cream.
  • It can be covered and chilled, but not for too long. While the apple pie filling will slow down the browning of the fresh fruit, it won’t stop it, so I recommend serving this fruit salad within a few hours of making it.

Enjoy!
