This recipe is super easy! You’ll just need a few simple ingredients:
- Pears (Bartlett, D’anjou, or a combination)
- Apples (Gala, Fuji, or Honeycrisp, or a combination)
- Red grapes
- A can of apple pie filling (or a can of no-sugar-added apple pie filling) – this is what gives this fruit salad an apple pie flavor!
- Optional: cinnamon and/or apple pie spice
Want to skip the sugar? You can use a no-sugar-added apple pie filling, like the one listed above, that is sweetened with sucralose instead of sugar.
How To Make Fall Fruit Salad (Quick Overview)
The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make the salad. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.
Add all of the fruit to a bowl. The fruit can be prepared as follows:
- Apples: cored, then chopped or sliced
- Pears: cored, then chopped or sliced
- Grapes: whole or halved

Next, add the apple pie filling.

Mix to combine, making sure the fresh fruit is fully coated. The apple pie filling will add sweetness and flavor to the fresh fruit while also slowing down the browning process.
