How To Make Beef Chili (Quick Overview)
The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make beef chili recipe. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.

- Photo 1: Add olive oil to a saute pan on medium-low heat. When the oil is heated, add chopped red onion and saute until the onion begins to turn translucent.
- Photo 2: Then add garlic and cook until onions are translucent and the garlic starts to brown.
- Photo 3: Add ground beef and stir.
- Photo 4: Turn heat up to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is almost cooked through.
- Photo 5: Add chili seasoning and chopped bell pepper.
- Photo 6: Stir thoroughly to incorporate the chili seasoning into the beef. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Photo 7: Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef stock.
- Photo 8: Thoroughly stir the mixture. Bring it to a low boil.
- Photo 9: Then, reduce the heat to a gentle simmer. Simmer the chili, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serving Tips
- This chili can be served as-is or topped with cheese and/or sour cream. Cilantro can also be a great addition.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
