How To Make Pork Chops in the Air Fryer (Quick Overview)
The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make the recipe. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.
If it’s a feature on your air fryer, preheat it to 375 F.
Don’t skip the pre-heating step! This helps your pork chops cook faster and more evenly.
Mix all dry ingredients in a small bowl. Evenly coat pork chops with olive oil and seasoning on both sides. Place them into your air fryer basket, spacing them out as much as possible.

Cook for 4 minutes, flip, and cook for another 3 minutes. Check the temperature and return the pork chops to the air fryer as needed until the internal temperature reaches the 145-160 F range.
Pork Chops Temperature Tip 🌡
Did you know that pork chops are safe to eat, according to the USDA, at only 145 F (with 3 minutes rest time)? But they also say: “For reasons of personal preference, you may choose to cook to higher temperatures.”
- 145 F to 150 F is Medium Rare
- 150 F to 155 F is Medium
- 155 F to 160 F is Medium-Well
- 160 F+ is Well
I like to cook to about 150 F, but feel free to cook to your (safe) temperature of choice!

Let your chops rest for three minutes before slicing them and serving. Serve topped with pan juices.
