How To Make Air Fryer Chicken Breasts (Quick Overview)
The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make the recipe. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.
If your air fryer has a preheating option, set it to 375°F. Alternatively, you may heat the air fryer at 375 F for 2-3 minutes prior to placing the chicken in the basket.

Combine all dry ingredients in a small bowl.
Photo 1: Put the chicken breasts in a clean bowl or plate. Pat them dry, then coat them evenly with olive oil.
Photo 2: Rub the seasoning mixture evenly into the breasts to coat them.
Photo 3: Place the chicken into the air fryer basket.
Photo 4: Air fry the chicken for 22 to 25 minutes, flipping at minutes 8, 16, and 20, until they are browned on both sides and have reached an internal temp of 160°F.
Temperature Note 🌡
It is technically necessary to cook chicken to 165°F to ensure safety, but chicken will generally continue to cook until 165°F even if removed from the air fryer at 160°F. Learn more here. On the other hand, if you prefer to err on the side of caution, cook to 165°F.

Important: Let Your Chicken Rest! 😴
Before slicing and serving, let the chicken breasts rest for 10 minutes. Resting allows the meat to retain its moisture. If you cut the chicken without letting it rest first, some of the juices will flow out of the chicken and onto your plate, leading to dry chicken.
