  1. Cream cheese
  2. Powdered sugar
  3. Heavy whipping cream
  4. Vanilla extract
  5. Purple food dye (I used the purple from this gel food dye kit)
  6. Halloween Oreos (most grocery stores carry these as early as August, but you can also buy them on Amazon)

How To Make Halloween Oreo Cheesecake Fluff

The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make the Halloween Oreo fluff. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.

First, add your Halloween Oreos to a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin, like this:

I crushed the Oreos included inside the fluff into pretty small chunks. The larger pieces you see as a topping in the photo at the beginning of the post were crushed into larger pieces and added as a topping later. (I highly recommend that you do this too!)

Place your crushed Oreos in a bowl and make the cheesecake fluff. If you want to see how to make the cheesecake fluff step-by-step, check out this cheesecake fluff post (skip the part where you add the berries).

For an easier fluff, you can replace the Homemade Whipped Topping in the recipe with an 8-oz tub of thawed Cool Whip.

Now it’s time to dye your cheesecake fluff purple! 💜

Add the crushed Oreos…

and mix! Decorate with additional crushed or whole Oreos.

🧹To serve: You can serve this dessert in individual servings (I love these 2 oz dessert cups) or in a larger serving bowl. (In the photo at the beginning of this post, I used this cauldron, lined with plastic wrap.)
