Tips for Making This PSL Recipe

  • Make sure to use powdered sugar. Regular sugar will give the coffee a slightly grainy texture.
  • Make sure your coffee is strong since you’re only using 4 oz. My favorite coffee to use in this lately is Nescafe Gold Instant Espresso (a heaping tsp made in 4 oz water). I use the Intense version, but the Blonde works too – it just has less caffeine.
  • This recipe can be made lighter. For a lighter version, replace the 1/4 cup water + 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream with 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk.
