Ingredient quantities for this easy Easter fruit salad recipe are located in the recipe card at the end of the post.

- Bananas
- Canned pineapple chunks in juice
- Canned mandarin oranges in light syrup
- Box of zero sugar vanilla or cheesecake instant pudding mix (this recipe calls for zero sugar mix because there is less volume and it’s easier to sprinkle over the fruit, but you are welcome to use regular mix instead!)

- Peeps Marshmallow Bunnies (optional)

How To Make Easter Fruit Sald
The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make the recipe. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.
This fruit salad is super easy to make, so let’s get started!
Toss the bananas, drained pineapple, and oranges into a bowl and give them a good mix.
For a slightly different flavor, drain the mandarin oranges but not the pineapple. (You can use pineapple in light syrup or juice.)

Sprinkle the dry pudding mix over the fruit…

and stir until everything is nicely coated.
For a creamier fruit salad, drain both of the cans of fruit and fold in some yogurt or Cool Whip after this step. I love to make this with plain Greek Yogurt to cut some of the sweetness. With yogurt, it can be a good breakfast option! (Feel free to omit the marshmallows.)

Cover the bowl and pop it in the fridge for about 45 minutes, or until it’s chilled.
Take it out of the fridge, add the marshmallows…

fold them in…

and serve right away. (If you don’t, the marshmallows will dissolve slightly. Not the worst thing, but I prefer the texture of this salad when it’s served immediately.)

For a fun touch, you can top it off with Peeps Marshmallow Bunnies—stick a toothpick in the bottom to help them stand up!

- 1 box zero sugar vanilla or cheesecake instant pudding (4-serving size; see notes)
- 1 cup mini fruity marshmallows
- Peeps Marshmallow Bunnies (optional)
Instructions
- Add bananas, pineapple, and oranges to a bowl and mix to combine.
- Evenly sprinkle the dry pudding mix on top of the fruit. Mix to combine, ensuring the fruit is evenly coated by the mix.
- Cover and refrigerate for 45 minutes or until cold.
- Remove from fridge, fold in marshmallows, and serve immediately. Optionally, top the whole bowl or individual servings with Peeps Marshmallow Bunnies. (Stick a toothpick into the bottom to help them stand up easier.)
Notes
- This recipe uses zero sugar pudding mix because it has less volume, which makes it easier to mix in. However, feel free to use regular pudding mix if you would prefer.
- For a slightly different flavor, drain the mandarin oranges but not the pineapple. (You can use pineapple in light syrup or juice.)
- For a creamier fruit salad, drain both of the cans of fruit and fold in some yogurt or Cool Whip after Step 2 instead. I love to make this with plain Greek Yogurt to cut some of the sweetness. With yogurt, it can be a good breakfast option! (Feel free to omit the marshmallows.)
