How To Make Pizza Soup (Quick Overview)
The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make the soup. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.
First, prepare the pepperoni. Cut the pepperoni in half and place it in a 6-quart soup pot.
Set the heat to medium-high and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pepperoni is crispy, which should take about 5 minutes.

Resist the urge to eat all of the crispy pepperoni at this step 🙂 Instead, remove it and transfer it to a plate.
In the same pot, cook the sausage over medium-high heat until fully cooked, approximately 5 minutes.
Add the onion and pepper.

Cook and stir until they are crisp-tender, around 5 minutes.

Mix in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef bone broth, Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.

Lower the heat to low and let it simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve, garnished with the crispy pepperoni, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan.
You shouldn’t serve this piping hot, but make sure it’s still warm enough to melt the cheese on top.

Enjoy! This is a great go-to easy soup. I hope it becomes part of your dinner rotation!
