How To Make Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts (Quick Overview)
The steps below are just a quick overview of how to make the recipe. The full process in detail is located in the recipe card at the end of the post.
This recipe is super easy, I promise! I’m just breaking it into a few steps so you can see my chocolate-melting process. This is my foolproof method for melting chocolate chips in the microwave to avoid the dreaded overheated (seized) chocolate. (My face if chocolate seizes –> 😱)

- Photo 1: Add chocolate chips to a large microwave-safe bowl.
- Photo 2: Microwave the chocolate at 50% power for 45 seconds. Remove the bowl from the microwave. Then, use a spatula to stir the chocolate thoroughly, allowing it to melt on its own as much as possible.
- Photo 3: Microwave the chocolate again for 15 seconds at full power. Repeat the stirring process to fully melt the chocolate.
- If needed, continue microwaving in 10-second increments until the chocolate is completely melted.
- Photo 4: Add macadamia nuts to the melted chocolate.

- Photo 5: Stir until they are fully coated.
- Photo 6: Using a fork, remove each macadamia nut and place it on a non-stick baking sheet. Be sure to leave space between each piece to prevent them from sticking together.
- Refrigerate the cookie sheet for at least 30 minutes.
Serving Tip
Optionally, after dipping the nuts in chocolate, you can roll or dust them in powdered sugar to get results as shown in the photo below!

Enjoy! This elegant and decadent treat is so easy to make – and DELICIOUS!
